Downtown Aquarium

   

Join us for an exciting field trip to the Downtown Aquarium, where participants will get a behind-the-scenes tour exploring the chemistry behind maintaining a healthy aquatic environment. Experts will guide us through the science of water quality, pH balance, filtration, and marine animal care. After the tour, participants will have time to explore the beautiful exhibits, observing a variety of marine life, including sharks, rays, and tropical fish. This experience will provide a unique blend of STEM education and real-world applications of chemistry while immersing participants in the wonders of aquatic ecosystems.

 

NOAA and NCAR

        

Join us for an incredible field trip to NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) and NCAR (National Center for Atmospheric Research) in the beautiful town of Boulder! These world-renowned institutions help shape our understanding of the planet, from weather patterns to climate science. At NOAA, you’ll gain insight into the chemistry that drives weather and climate, exploring the cutting-edge research that helps us understand our changing world. NCAR will provide an in-depth look at atmospheric science, showcasing the technology and data that influence everything from storms to global climate trends.
